‘Lace up those running shoes - a striking new visual arts commission has landed in Centenary Square’

A large-scale public art installation, commissioned by Opus Art Events and Ikon Gallery and exhibited in Birmingham, UK during the 2026 European Athletics Championship.

Located in Birmingham’s Centenary Square, ‘The Finish Line’ was a public art installation designed to transform an iconic city centre fountain into an engaging public art piece during the 2026 European Athletics Championship.

This commission was an exciting opportunity to see my work on a grand scale! Taking inspiration from the patterns found on the soles of trainers, I created a series of illustrated running tracks that were printed and installed in Birmingham’s city centre during the Championship.
